Wyoming Air Quality
Smoke from wildfires in Canada has made its way into our state, causing an air quality alert to be issued for Northern and Central Wyoming!
The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality’s Air Quality Division and the Wyoming Department of Health issued the alert Tuesday morning, and expected it to last through Wednesday.
Among the areas included in the alert: Natrona County’s lower elevations, the Bighorn Basin, the Bighorn Mountains and Johnson County. The elderly, young children, and those with respiratory issues are encouraged to limit outside activities when air quality is poor. For updates on Wyoming’s air quality visit this website.
