Super Bowl Squares Fundraiser Rooted in Cheyenne
If you enjoy a cold beer, football and supporting Wyoming non profits, Freedom’s Edge Brewing company in Cheyenne is hosting a “super bowl squares” fundraiser on Sunday, January 29th. Mark Ellison is the president of Rooted In Cheyenne – the non profit raises money to plant trees in the city.
He spoke with Your Wyoming Link about the upcoming fundraiser.
“Over the next several weeks, we’re having a super bowl squares marketing promotion to help raise money for our upcoming tree planting season. If you win, if your numbers get picked, then we’ll we’ll split the pot with you. So half of it will go to Rooted In and you’ll get half as well. We’re always looking for volunteers, so if you have an interest in planting trees, it’s a great way to give back to the community. Help help us to build back our tree canopy.”
Here’s how it works, you guess the score of the super bowl, then Rooted chooses 4 winners after every quarter and the person with the correct final score wins! You can purchase squares on Sunday Jan. 29th at Freedom’s Edge Brewing or visit rootedincheyenne.com to find out how you can volunteer.
