New Rifle Shot World Record Wy Nomad Rifleman Team

A member of a Wyoming rifle team shows what it means to have good aim–and sets a new rifle shot world record at a distance of 4.4 miles away.

Cowboy State Daily reports, the shot was made last week by an unidentified member of the Jackson-based nomad rifleman team, who used a custom-built rifle.

The shot broke the previous world record of 4 miles set in 2020 by Paul Phillips of Texas, as well as the team’s previous Wyoming state record of 3.06 miles.
