CRMC Recognized by American Heart Association

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is being recognized as a primary heart attack center by the joint commission and the American Heart Association. Its the only hospital in the state to receive this distinction. A spokesperson with Cheyenne Regional says the hospital has a dedicated staff and a determined leader of the cardiac department who are responsible for earning the recognition.

“They take a lot of pride in the work that they do. So it means a lot to receive this certification. And I would specifically like to thank Dr. Abdur Khan and members of our cardiac Cath team and our whole heart and vascular institute. They also put in a lot of work and need to be thanked and congratulated.”
