Casper’s ‘Toys for Tots’ Annual Toy Drive Information

Menards is partnering with ‘Toys for Tots’ here in Casper this year for their annual toy drive, where you can either purchase a new toy here, which there are plenty to choose from and donate, or you can either bring in your new toy donation. The home improvement store continues their tradition of putting smiles on kids’ faces within the community by collecting toys through a convenient donation drop box near the exit door. General manager at Menards in Casper Chris Kobza explains that gathering toys this time of year is vital, especially for families who have been impacted by the pandemic.

“These last, these last two, two years with the whole COVID, it’s been rough on families, and so those families probably aren’t able to give the presents that they normally give or that they want to give to the kids. And so doing this allows those kids to receive those presents that they may or may not have got.”

Menards team members put up signs around the store and encourage toy donations to give to less fortunate children. I love to see people donate. The other day, we had a mother and her kids in here, and each one of the kids put a toy in the box. And so that was it was really cute, really special. So I think it’s a very good cause. So if you can, if you if you have the time, stop in and donate. Toy donations will be accepted throughout this month of November in Menards to prepare for a child in need of a gift to open on Christmas morning.
