A Casper man pleads not guilty to a possession of child pornography charge.
Acting United States Attorney Bob Murray announced today that 39 year old Jeremiah Lincoln currently of Casper, Wyoming, was charged by indictment for possession of child pornography. He is accused of possessing two hard drives that allegedly contained images of child pornography involving prepubescent minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Current appeared before Federal District Court Chief Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on October 15th this year for an arraignment hearing and pleaded not guilty to the charge. A jury trial has been set to occur on December 20th in Casper. Current was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshals Service. This crime investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation carries a term of up to 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
