Bouchard Staying in US House Race despite lagging Fundraising Amounts
State Senator and U.S. House candidate, Anthony Bouchard, is staying in the race despite a fundraising decline in the most recent quarter that put him in fourth in fundraising behind representative Liz Cheney, trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman, and former candidate and State Representative Chuck Gray.
Bouchard raised $65,560 while Gray raised $113,195 during the quarter. Bouchard’s campaign spokeswoman April Foley told Cowboy State Daily that “The Senator was not currently focused on fundraising, but on other, more pressing issues.” The issues mentioned by Foley are the “sexual harassment issue in the Wyoming National Guard, covid mandates and red flag gun laws.” Bouchard and his campaign have not responded to numerous requests for interview by our station’s political reporter.
